Virtual & In-Person Sessions
Therapy is a collaborative journey where we navigate together, seeking to reconnect with the inner part of yourself that holds the wisdom to nurture and guide you. Whether you carry the weight of past traumas or feel adrift in today's tumultuous world, we'll team up to unearth hidden beliefs and outdated patterns that influence your life.
Individual Therapy
My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, and tailored to your unique healing journey. There's no one-size-fits-all solution.
With a foundation of psychodynamic talk therapy, my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Healing Shame offers a structured framework for exploring your internal dynamics. As a trauma-informed therapist, our work together will find a safe pace for your healing. Our sessions may incorporate somatic exploration, visualization, mindfulness exercises, parts work, and other experiential practices.
Couples Therapy
I offer interactive couples (including friendships and polyamorous relationships) therapy, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to help partners connect, communicate, and heal. In our sessions, we work together to:
Identify Patterns and Cycles: I guide each partner in recognizing their own and their partner's typical responses and recurring patterns, especially those that may be blocking clear communication.
Shift from Blame to Understanding: Partners learn how to move away from blame-based exchanges and instead foster a space for empathy and insight, opening the door to a shared understanding.
Explore Deep-Seated Coping Strategies: I create a safe environment for each person to explore their early coping mechanisms and unconscious strategies—especially those that tend to appear in close, romantic relationships—helping them understand how these patterns influence their current interactions.
Build Lasting, Secure Connections: Through targeted interventions, I help each partner break free from entrenched communication loops, moving them toward genuinely witnessing and understanding each other. This often leads to healing past hurts and builds a sense of emotional safety and closeness.
By the end of therapy, partners not only feel more connected and seen by each other but also leave with practical communication skills that allow them to express their true needs and invite deeper, safer connections.
Group Therapy
Coming Soon! If you're considering group therapy, I'd love to hear from you. The benefits, both in terms of cost-effectiveness and therapeutic outcomes, are significant. Much like relationship therapy, group sessions offer a dynamic microcosm where healing can flourish. Each session is thoughtfully designed to foster and uphold a sense of emotional security, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone involved. Let me know if you're interested!
